Approved Managers Course Overview
MLPLCA001 – Manage legislative responsibilities for the sale, supply and service of liquor training is the mandatory unit for all licensees and unrestricted Approved Managers in Western Australia (NB: This course may also be referred to as “MLP1”) – Click here for details from the DLGSC website.
An Unrestricted Approved Manager is a manager of commercially licensed premises such as a tavern, liquor store, or venue with a special facility licence.
Note: Students on Subclass 500 Visas are not eligible to study this course.
Entry Requirements
Before starting this course you must have completed either of the following units (or future equivalent unit/s): SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) – Click here to learn more about the WA RSA course…
Students must be able to demonstrate a level of English language, literacy and numeracy skills to be able to read and interpret legislation and regulations, hold discussions with all stakeholder groups and gather and provide information in both written and oral forms.
Students must also be residents in Western Australia – and will be required to provide proof of residency. Individuals who are on visas will be required to provide visa information, so that course eligibility can be verified.
Please note that Streamline Training is not registered as a CRICOS provider and cannot provide training to overseas students who hold an Australian Student Visa (Subclass 500) except for the following exempt short courses: SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol, SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety and SITXFSA006 Participate in safe food handling practices.
Students on Subclass 500 Visas are not eligible to study this course.
